Chosen Kin Podcast hosted The Link Up in Atlanta on September 4, 2026 to kick off Atlanta Black Pride weekend. It was the podcast's first in-person gathering and was a mixer built for Black queer and trans folks across the diaspora to connect and be in community with one another. Hosted by Bia Jackson and Harry Itie, with music from Whipp Appeal and DJ Ego, the event was a fun evening that also included giveaways to other events happening that weekend. The event was powered by Femme Vitale, Culture of Color Collective, and the Black LGBTQIA+ Migrant Project.
