Culture of Color Collective is a Black LGBTQ+ cultural organization in Minneapolis that produces culturally rooted events, storytelling, and creative projects celebrating belonging, joy, and authentic cultural expression.

Founded by cultural producer and storyteller Harry Itie, CoCC fosters inclusive, accessible cultural experiences for Black LGBTQ+ communities and for organizations committed to genuine, culturally authentic programming.

We operate at the intersection of arts, culture, and community-building. Our programming spans DJ-led nightlife experiences, intimate storytelling showcases, community gatherings, and media productions, all guided by a deep commitment to accessibility, cultural integrity, and community care. We believe Black LGBTQ+ communities deserve spaces designed with genuine care, cultural depth, and joy at the center, and that belief shapes everything we build. Culture of Color Collective is also home to Monoyo, an arts initiative fiscally sponsored by Springboard for the Arts, that creates, commissions, and curates art centering the Black LGBTQ+ experience.
