Who we are

Culture of Color Collective is a Minneapolis-based creative company producing culturally rooted events, storytelling, and creative projects that center belonging, joy, and authentic cultural expression.

Founded in 2025 by cultural producer and storyteller Harry Itie, CoCC fosters inclusive and accessible cultural experiences for Black and LGBTQ+ communities, and for any organization committed to genuine, culturally authentic programming.

We operate at the intersection of arts, culture, and community-building. Our programming spans DJ-led nightlife experiences, intimate storytelling showcases, community gatherings, and media productions, all guided by a deep commitment to accessibility, cultural integrity, and community care. We believe that Black and LGBTQ+ communities deserve spaces designed with genuine care, cultural depth, and joy at the center, and that belief shapes everything we build.
